Keith Greusel


Keith grew up in Berks county and was baptized and confirmed at Epler’s UCC in Leesport, PA. While in high school, he was very active in Boy Scouts where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow.  After graduating from Schuylkill Valley High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and married his high school sweetheart, Kay.  They have 2 children, Matthew and Kristin, and 3 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. After serving 6 years on active duty, Keith received a Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University and a Master’s in Education from Eastern Mennonite University.  He is currently a high school science teacher in the Cocalico School District and also coached wrestling for 20 years.

 

Keith and Kay joined Swamp in 2005 and have served in many areas.  Keith is in the choir, serves as a Sunday School teacher for the adult class, and was on the worship commission for several years.  They also serve as liturgist, work in the sound room during worship and are active with the Willing Workers.

Pat Miller

Pat Miller first started attending Swamp Christian Fellowship in 1986 when he was dating his wife, Tammy, who is a lifelong member of Swamp.  He became a member of Swamp the following year and Tammy and he were married there that same year.  They have a daughter, Lindsay, who is married to Eli Saenz.  Pat has been teaching the Middle School Sunday School class for the last six years and also participated in leading and instructing the last Faith Formation Class.


Pat is a Cocalico graduate and went on to attend Shippensburg State College where he earned a degree in secondary education.  Pat and Tammy live in Ephrata, and he is retired after thirty eight years in the car business.



Anita Lied


Anita has attended Swamp since birth, and her family tree includes one of the founders of our church.  She was confirmed here, was married here, and each of her three daughters joined the church as well.  Two daughters are now married and have young children of their own, while the youngest is in college. 

Before starting a family, Anita served as a Deacon here at Swamp.  She then became involved in children’s ministries and directed the Vacation Bible School program for many years.  She currently heads up the Altar Guild, as well as serving as a liaison to the Reinholds Community Bible School.  Her husband, Scott, has served as an Elder and Sunday School teacher for a number of years, as well as the church Treasurer in the past.



George Gress


George grew up in Reinholds and attended Swamp from birth until high school. He was baptized and confirmed here at Swamp, and was a member of the youth fellowship and junior choir.  His family attended Swamp for several generations, and are descendants of Rev. John Waldschmidt. George graduated from Cocalico high school and Brownstown Vo-Tech.  He and his wife, Patti, married in 1982, and lived in Lebanon for over 35 years, before moving back to Reinholds.  George worked with his dad as a carpenter for several years before his employment with the Pennsylvania chapter of The Nature Conservancy, where he has worked for the last 26 years.
